For two weekends this fall, Austin will play host to dancing bears, fallen showgirls, disgruntled gravediggers and other ramshackle characters from the Tom Waits universe. The peepshow provides a lurid and lunatic peek through the keyhole at the vagabonds who fill Waits' landscape with sweet nothings and sour grapes. Inside a Broken Clock features an impressive cross-section of Austin artists, dancers, actors and musicians, all of whom are devotees to the music and ethos of Tom Waits.
